When we make choices aligned in vision, purpose and mission, we do it so that the needs of the present do not compromise the future. Collective Consciousness creates synergistic communities, as described by Barbara Marx Hubbard in Conscious Evolution: The Next Stage of Human Development.

‘Communication’ is derived from the Latin ‘communis’, which means to share. Good communication involves listening, respect, empathy, validation, edification, and giving. Reciprocity happens in the Universe on a level we can’t control--so we don’t try! We just give because it gives us joy, and we get back so much more than we’ve given. When it’s not about ‘ME’, but about ‘WE’, the most amazing things DO happen, exceeding everyone’s expectations, and the process and experience is enjoyable and fulfilling for everyone.

Congruence

The word ‘community’ is derived from the Latin ‘cum’, which means with/together, and ‘munus’, which means gift. When we go from ‘ME’ to ‘WE’, and we come together offering our unique gifts, the whole does become greater than the sum of its parts!
